About Lawn Safe Pets

This site is written by an environmental scientist and dog owner who wanted a straight answer about when the dog can go back outside. The author is not a veterinarian, physician, toxicologist, or licensed pesticide applicator, and writes in a personal capacity. Nothing here is professional advice of any kind.

Pesticide labels are legally enforceable, and EPA publishes the labels it accepts in its Pesticide Product and Label System. So every product page here starts from the EPA-accepted label, quotes it word for word, and links to it.

Our rules

• Quote the label exactly, and link it.
• Never suggest a shorter wait than the label.
• Cite NPIC and other sources, with dates.
• No "safe" badges, and no paid placements. No manufacturer has reviewed, sponsored, or endorsed this site.
• Say so when a label is silent.
